For Vacation Bible School this year, children aged 5-12 will be having a FOOD TRUCK PARTY, where we will all be "on a roll with God!" This year's VBS celebrates Matthew 6:11, "Give us this day our daily bread". Each day's lesson is built around the lines of the beloved children's prayer...

• God is great!  God is good! 
  
• Let us thank God for our food. 
  
• By God's hands we all are fed. 
  
• Give us, Lord, our daily bread!

Vacation Bible School will be held from 6-8 pm, June 20, 21 and 22, 2022 at Woodforest Presbyterian Church.  The event includes Bible stories, snacks, songs, games and crafts and is free to all church and community children.

On June 5, 2022, we will celebrate Pentecost.

Pentecost marks the point at which Jesus' disciples came out of hiding and --  filled with the Holy Spirit -- began teaching and preaching in His name.  In some ways, that first Pentecost can be considered the birthday of the Christian church.  

The altar (and the congregation!) are dressed in the color red, symbolizing joy and the fire of the Holy Spirit.  As part of our Pentecost worship, we will collect the Pentecost Offering, a special donation which is dedicated to nurturing the faith of children, youth, and young adults.
